Develop incredible Leader skills Here are simple recommendations that have created more top leaders than many management books and classes out there. Read and follow them in any order depending on the leadership aspect that you want to address. 1) How to win the loyalty of your employees? Nothing is more important than a group employees that feel inspired, motivated and energized by their manager. The only way to achieve these results is by gaining the emotional involvement of the team in the success of the company. This is how you do it: 1) Develop a powerful vision that involves your team personally. You must get their commitment to share the dream of the company. 2) Recognize and reward the accomplishments of your team members 3) Provide evidence that the work of your team is producing results all can be proud of. 4) Celebrate the accomplishment of your employees as a team. 5) Build on their accomplishments to create new, more challenging goals. 6) Be there for them when they need you.
2) What are the top characteristics of a great Leader? Leaders do NOT manage, they Lead. A leader inspires the team, so that they will do more than they could do without the leader. Great leaders may influence the lives of their employees for ever. This is how you do it: 1) Be the example to follow. Be flawless to your employees, and still be human. 2) Lead by coaching (we'll talk about this in another chapter). Be sure your team will always learn something from you 3) Recognize the achievements of each of your employees, and not just in front of the peers, but with other managers and senior team. 4) Assume the consequences of the mistakes' of your team, do not "throw them under the bus" 5) Demonstrate courage during taught times (lay-offs, terminations, performance reviews, etc) 6) Encourage dialog between the members of your team as much as you can. Make sure they understand the roles of their peers and that understand that the "whole is the sum of the parts" 7) Establish clear goals for your team
